Early intervention is aimed at families who have children of preschool age (0 - 5 years) with developmental delay, speech or behavior problems. The program is designed by therapists of various specialties (Speech Therapist, Occupational Therapist, Special Educator, etc.) because it aims at a holistic approach to the infant/toddler. Depending on the particularities and needs of each child, areas of development develop that are necessary for their good learning ability in the future.

These areas are related to:

• mobility (fine/gross)
• cognitive development
• language ability
• The communication
• the expression
• the perception
• the sensory organization and
• the emotional maturity of each child

Many parents who experience difficulties with their children report that they cannot find appropriate help as their main problem is the guidance they need in the daily handling of their child.
With Early Intervention parents are taught in a special way how to educate the children themselves at home.
